Rabat – A tribute will be paid to actors Safia Ziani and Mohamed Choubi, as part of the 24th edition of the Tangier National Film Festival, organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, from October 18 to 26.

Safia Ziani, pioneer of the comedy scene in Morocco, distinguished herself through a rich career in the fields of theater and cinema, underlines a press release from the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM), adding that she marked the national cinema with her participation in several films by Jilali Ferhati, as well as foreign productions.

Mohamed Choubi, passionate about and literature, graduated from the first class of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art and Cultural Animation of Rabat in 1990, indicates the same source, noting that he is among the Moroccan actors the most prolific, with more than thirty cinematographic works to his credit and an artistic career that spans more than three decades.

These tributes demonstrate the recognition of the Festival for their exceptional contribution to the Moroccan cinematographic, artistic and cultural landscape, concludes the CCM.
