Automne en scène puts the territory in the spotlight, from October 30 to November 2

This year, Automne en scène welcomes a surprise guest, from the depths of the ocean, in the person of Maylis, Mimizanese and ocean siren.

If it is sometimes discreet, sometimes very present, in any case it is thanks to it that vacationers and residents of the community of communes of Mimizan will be able to (re)discover significant moments in local history, emblematic natural sites of the territory or even well-preserved traditions.

Following in Maylis’ footsteps during Automne en scène is to realize the diversity of waters here: salty, fresh, ocean, lake, current, river, pond or miraculous fountain… It’s also give a nod to the local sirens: on the one hand, the harmony of Mimizan, called Mermaid of the Ocean, and on the other hand, the weathervane located at the top of the porch bell tower which illustrates the saying “May God preserves us from the song of the siren, the tail of the whale and the bell tower of Mimizan.”

Thus, for four days (from October 30 to November 2) in Mimizan, Mézos, Saint-Paul-en-Born and Pontenx-les-Forges, numerous meetings await young and old.
