Cétautomatix, the future attraction of Parc Astérix will blow our minds

Parc Astérix never stops innovating. After some great new features for its 35th anniversary, we are revealing the new attraction which will see the light of day in 2025: a Spinning Coaster like a roller coaster which should attract fans.

While the season ofHalloween begins, with even scarier evenings and a new Haunted House to make your hair stand on end, we reveal the news to you roller coasternamed Cétautomatixcurrently under construction and which will see the light of day in 2025. After a year 2024 full of new features to celebrate the 35th anniversary, such as the extension of the Egypt zone with the Numberbis Tower and the musical dedicated to Asterix, the park is banking on a Spinning Coaster to attract more and more visitors. Installed in the heart of the area dedicated to Gaul, this new attraction pays homage to Cétautomatixthe emblematic blacksmith of Asterix’s village.

The Parc Astérixalways looking for new experiences for its visitors, permanently closed several infrastructures on November 5, 2023 to make room for this roller coaster. Among the attractions dismantled, we find the Nationale 7a ride in old cars that has allowed visitors to travel through a rural setting since 1992. Used every Halloween season for the Wizard’s Paththis attraction is now ancient history.

We also say goodbye to the famous House of Fearthe park’s first haunted house, as well as the Fair of 6 Trouillestwo key elements of the Halloween season, known for their guaranteed thrills. With this, several small infrastructures, such as games and catering stands, have also disappeared to provide optimal space for this new project.

L’attraction Cétautomatixdesigned as a Spinning Coasterin other words: spinning roller coasterwill offer a unique experience. Aboard floats specially created in the Gallic blacksmith’s workshop, visitors will experience moments of swirling emotions. This roller coaster, probably built by the famous German manufacturer Gerstlauerwill allow passengers to sit face to face, promising fun interaction between families and friends throughout the journey. The attraction will be accessible from one meter away, making it an ideal family experience. This concept is reminiscent of that of attraction Vicky The Ride at Plopsa Coo Park in Belgium.
