Our history of it is a docu-fiction in six episodes broadcast from this Tuesday, October 8, at 9:05 p.m., on France 2. A brand new program, narrated by the actor Tomer Sisley who evokes the history of France, from Vercingetorix to Henri IV.

One-week filming at the Gallic Village

And part of this new historical docu-fiction was filmed near Toulouse. For an entire week, technicians, extras and actors met at the Village Gaulois, the archaeosite located in Rieux-Volvestre, around fifty kilometers from the Pink City.

Vercingetorix against Caesar

This is the first episode of the series that was filmed at Rieux-Volvestre. What better setting indeed than the Gallic Village for an opus entitled Vercingetorix against Caesar ?

Cob houses, animal parks, ramparts, Roman camp…: the meticulous reconstructions of the archaeosite provided the perfect settings for the production company in charge of the series broadcast on France 2.
