Didier Barbelivien made a revelation this Monday in Pascal Praud and you on Europe 1. The host of the show Tell me what you sing reveals that he learned about his Jewishness very late in his life: “At a little over 60 years old, I happen to be biologically half-Jewish. I’m Catholic upbringing, I’m Catholic. But I don’t deny it. C It was something hidden and we learned it through family secrets I’m not the only one in this case, my friend Carla Bruni learned her real identity, she was 26 years old. Well, it was earlier. it was later for me.”
A revelation that changed nothing in his life: “I can say it in a relaxed way. It’s funny because when I was a kid, I always had Jewish friends. My professional partner was Jewish. It’s like that. I loved going to see them, I loved seeing the atmosphere,” he confides.
