The big return of Marvel Studios thanks to Agatha All Along?
Launched September 19 on Disney+, Agatha All Along was awaited by many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since it is a spin-off of WandaVisionwhich for many is one of the best Marvel series to date. The new MCU series therefore follows that of 2021, this time focusing on the character of Agatha Harkness played by Kathryn Hahn.
And while early reviews suggested thatAgatha All Along was a worthy successor to the main series centered on the famous Scarlet Witch, it would seem that the new derivative series has indeed succeeded in its bet, becoming the most successful series in the studio’s history.
Indeed, it was during a recent interview with Variety which Brad Winderbaum, a Marvel Studios executive, revealed thatAgatha All Along currently recording the best continuation rate of all Marvel series. This therefore means that the spin-off manages to retain viewers, who return to the platform every week to see the new episode.
If we add to this the fact thatAgatha All Along is officially the “cheapest series” made by Marvel Studios to datewe understand why this is a huge success for Marvel and Disney.
