the La Forêt vous murmure festival returns from June 7 to 9, 2024

Last year, just over three hundred paid entries were recorded for the first edition. This year, the La Forêt vous murmure festival returns for a second edition, from Friday June 7 to Sunday June 9, 2024, which aims to be “even richer and more poetic”announces Lucile Krier, member of the co-organizing association Art’R Touraine du Sud, in partnership with the Nourishing Third Place of Sud-Touraine.

“The Bird Singers headlining”

The location remains unchanged, it will always be around the Pas-aux-Ânes pond in the forest in Sennevières. “Compared to last year, we are going to be more interested in the pond and its biodiversity, including a guided walk with Charlène Pagé, river technician in Loches Sud Touraine and Juliette Krier, from the Plant Cabin in Sennevières”explains Lucile Krier.

As in the first edition, this one is organized as part of the national Forest Nights event. On this occasion, the National Forestry Office will also offer a guided walk on Saturday afternoon.

Like last year, Anthony Moreau aka Omtani, will offer sylvotherapy, Saturday June 8 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

For the rest, the program promises to be very dense with no less than twenty shows, events, conferences, plays, stories, concerts, literary dedications and film screenings.

“Our headliners will be the Bird Singers who will come and perform, twice for thirty minutes, on Sunday early in the afternoon”, declares Lucile Krier. The duo will come to scout before their performance “in order to know the species present on site but also the direction of the wind”continues the organizer of the event.

An emphasis will also be placed on gastronomy with the presence of Ambroise Voreux, the fisherman chef from Bréhémont, on Sunday June 9 at 12 p.m. for the conference show “Cul degreve” with the actor Jean-Marie Sirgue and the fisherman from Loire, Philippe Boisneau. But also with the conference to taste “Eating the forest”, hosted Saturday June 8 at 12 p.m. by the visual artist Rebecca Loulou.

Finally, faithful to its tradition of sustainable development, the carbon footprint of the festival will be almost zero. “The film screenings will be carried out using a solar power supply unit and the catering will not require cooking and will be provided by Martin Desplat, a peasant baker, who will notably offer spreads”concludes Lucile Krier.

From Friday June 7 to Sunday June 9, 2024, at the Pas-aux-Ânes pond in Sennevières, in the Loches forest. Free entry (cash and checks accepted). Parking on the Clisson road. Small catering on site. Water point (bring your water bottle). For the film evening, bring a flashlight and blanket. More information on programming and reservations: www.helloasso.fr/art-r-touraine-du-sud
