The Beaucouzé painting workshop will present the work of its members and the different themes covered this year during the exhibition which will be held from October 9 to 20 at the Grange Dimière with Clémence Banvillet as guest of honor.
The painting workshop is a group of amateur painters and designers who meet every Monday evening under the leadership of Yan Bernard. Throughout the year, they explore graphic and pictorial techniques (drawing, gouache, watercolor and even engraving).
Each year, a guest honors the exhibition by presenting some of her works. It was therefore Clémence Banvillet who was chosen for the richness and diversity of her work. This artist comes from Paris, where she took decorative arts courses before working as a copyist of paintings for a gallery specializing in replicas of works for 20 years.
« I settled permanently in Anjou when I saw the quality of life I could have hereindicates Clémence Banvillet. I had the opportunity to deepen my personal work and I stopped copying thanks to my meeting with the Confluence des arts association, in Bouchemaine, which welcomed me and where I had my workshop for three years. »
She set up exhibitions and drawing classes there, such as with Dalbe and Studio M. in Angers. She exhibits at La Pointe (Bouchemaine) with a ceramist and a cardboard maker.
Part of his work is also devoted to courtroom sketches (drawing made during a trial and published in the press).
