The Fenêtre sur rue festival is back on October 4 and 5, 2024. Created in 2023 by L. i and Yoann Guyot, Fenêtre sur rue aims to be festive, participatory and reflective to shine the spotlight on rap and hip-hop culture. The event brings together amateur or semi-professional artists from Rabastens and more broadly from . On the program: concerts, workshops and conferences around rap and hip-hop culture. “An event for all ages and not just for the initiated” indicate the organizers. L. i rapper from Rabastens has made his way in the network. He has 3 albums to his credit. He is keen to introduce and transmit this culture to everyone. Yoann Guyot, a regular rap listener in his spare time, is the referent of the Pré vert events commission. It seeks to develop programming that allows the inhabitants of the territory to express their culture, to share it, question it and emancipate themselves through it.

Fenêtre sur rue brings together all generations and emphasizes local practices sometimes from elsewhere, from yesterday and today, conducive to meetings, exchanges and reflection.

The festival takes place on Friday at La Safranette from 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, the festival continues at Le Pré Vert from 1 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Concerts, rap workshops (writing, recording, etc.) live freestyle fresco with several graffiti artists, breakdance demonstration, conference-debate recorded by Radio Octopus… the program is rich, available on social networks.
