In an interview with Le Parisien, Brigitte Bardot, who will be 90 on September 28, the actress talks about her friendship with Alain Delon and speaks out about the end of her friend’s life.

Brigitte Bardot is still not sure if she will celebrate her 90th birthday. She is “in mourning”, she says, in a confessional interview with Le Parisien: “I lost my dog, my cat, Alain, and my friend Paul Watson is in prison. I can’t tell you that I feel like laughing”.

In this interview, the actress from “And God Created Woman” is moved by the way her friend Alain Delon left us. “in terrible conditions. He was a prisoner in his own home. No one could enter that property or even speak to him on the phone. He didn’t answer the phone. The family decided everything. This last year has been miserable.”

He liked being alone and so did I.

She also says that they never saw each other but called each other regularly. “We celebrated each other’s birthdays, we called each other for nothing at all, just like that. He liked being alone, and so did I.”she adds.

As for their respective beauties, she confides that it “brought closer” but that they were there all the time “watched”.

In this interview, the animal rights activist talks extensively about her fight for animals and Paul Watson, a whale rights activist imprisoned in Greenland: “We have the same point of view. He must not be extradited to Japan. He will die there.”.
