A Total Transfer from Derek Prince

Giving thanks to the Father, who has made you meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.
Colossians 1.12-13

Just like righteousness, sanctification does not come by effort or religion, but only by faith in the blood of Jesus. To be sanctified means to be set apart for God. Now we belong to God, under His control and at His disposal. Anything that is not of God is not allowed to come near us and is kept away from us by the blood.

By faith in the blood of Jesus, we have been taken out of Satan’s sphere of authority and translated into the kingdom of God. The word “transported” means “transferred from one place to another.” In the Bible, the word is used for a total transfer. In the Old Testament, there are two men, Enoch and Elijah, who were translated from earth to heaven. And both of them went whole. All Elijah left was his coat, but his body was gone.

If my understanding of the Bible is correct, so are we. We have been totally transferred. We are not going to be transferred, but we have been, body, soul, and spirit. We are no longer in enemy territory, nor subject to his laws. We are in the territory of the Son of God and under his law.

Elisten to the voice of God

Are you still convinced that you are in the blessed territory of the Son of God? Take time to listen to what God wants to tell you about this.

Prayer is talking to God as you would to a close friend. God loves you and can hear everything. You can say to Him: “Lord, I believe your Word that tells me I am in your territory and under your law, but sometimes I feel like I am in a hostile place surrounded by enemies. Increase my faith, Lord, that I may see the invisible and finally believe it.”

Llisten to God

Even if today you do not “feel” it, you can praise your Lord who accepted you with him on his territory, thanks to the gift of his blood on Calvary. The more you praise him, the more you will be intimately convinced of it. So praise him for his blood shed for you.

HASturn today

Now, delve deeper into what you have received. If you still have doubts about your inheritance, reread the beginning of the letter to the Colossians. It is also addressed to you, isn’t it wonderful! Little by little these truths will come to life in you, and faith will illuminate your whole life!
