Yann Barthès takes advantage of Nolwenn’s presence…

At the helm of a new edition of the Quotidien show, broadcast Monday, September 16, 2024 on TMC, Yann Barthès welcomed Nolwenn Leroy and Lénie on his set. The journalist then teased the latter by talking about her career within the Star Academy on TF1.

An emblematic face of the French audiovisual landscape,
Yann Barthès began his career at Canal+’s Grand Journal. He became one of Michel Denisot’s essential columnists by embodying a humorous column called Le Petit Journal. The popularity of this sequence was such that it was later transformed into a full-fledged show.

In charge of this daily program, Yann Barthès finally left the Canal+ group in 2016. It was then on the TF1 side that the host and part of his teams found refuge. The journalist was then entrusted with a new talk show broadcast daily on TMC. Eight years later, the success is still there if we judge by the excellent audiences of the program.

Yann Barthès: this little dig at Lénie’s career in the Star Academy

Monday, September 16, 2024, Yann Barthès was back at the helm of a new edition of Quotidien on TMC. That day, the host again received several guests on his set. Among them, we can notably cite Tony Estanguet, Nolwenn Leroy, or even LénieAs a reminder, the two musicians are former key figures of the Star Academy on TF1.

However, Yann Barthès was keen to highlight the main difference between the two women.Nolwenn, Lénie, one thing they have in common is the Star Academy. Except that Nolwenn won herself“, he said. Subsequently, the journalist asked Lénie about her elimination from the TF1 talent show. The young woman also wanted to clarify things on this subject.

Lénie (Star Academy): “I think I was very afraid of what happened next”

“I’m going to put an end to all this. I didn’t faint. Everything is fine. I just had a very big emotional shock after all this. Everything is better, everything is much better. I think it shows that everything is getting better. Because I am very well surrounded. And I think I was very afraid of what would happen next because we were in a bubble for two months.”first indicated Yann Barthès’ guest.

“And it’s true that there, to say to yourself that it’s the end of the adventure. What’s going to happen? What am I going to do? It’s full of questions of the unknown that we haven’t had for a while and it’s scary. (…) Inevitably, at the time, you say to yourself: ‘Damn, this is the first time I’ve been nominated.’ And then I totally accepted the situation and it had to happen like that.”also added Lenie.
