Yvelines: this new totally immersive escape game room will really take you on a journey

Something new at Enigma 78. For a few days, theescape game de Maurepas (Yvelines) offers a new games room. Its name: “L’Orient Express”. The adventure lasts one hour. Expect €27 to €30 per person depending on the number of players (three to six).

In this plot, participants are transported to 1930 aboard this legendary train about to leave Istanbul station (Türkiye). Your mission is to trace the footsteps of famous detective Hercule Poirot and solve a mystery during the journey to Paris.

An immersive room

“The decorations are very nice in this new room. People don’t realize how much time passes. It is a way to escape, underlines Guillaume, one of the game masters of Enigma 78. Many people have come to do it since it opened. The feedback is rather positive. »

L’originality of this enigma particularly in its immersive aspect. “It’s a room totally different from anything we have here,” describes the game master. Usually, we send (the participants) clues in writing. »

“There, people will have control over the clues they will receive. As soon as they think they need it, they press a box. A voice gives them a clue. »

Three other rooms and a quiz game

This room replaces “ The Honeywell Secret »an enigma around the paranormal which existed for several years and which must be transferred to Escape game family in Aubergenville.

Open since 2017 within the Leisure Village, Enigma 78 also has three other rooms : “The Aztec legend” (adventure around Aztec temples), “The power of the Arcanum” (magic, fantasy) and “Black Sam’s treasure” (around pirates).

Since 2022, a quiz game has also been launched. This game allows participants to compete around general knowledge questions (news, music, sport, etc.) with buzzers, like a television show.
