Rigged votes in “Dancing with the Stars”? The subject has been talked about in recent days with the elimination of Black M from the TF1 dance competition on April 12. The singer himself is plagued by doubt, as he recounts in an interview with “Parisien”.

Last Friday, to his own surprise, Black M was eliminated, at the same time as James Denton, a week before the semi-final of “Dancing with the Stars”. “Behind the scenes, with my team we really believed that I was going to be saved because we had everyone’s votes” says Black M, sure that he would continue the adventure, every day.

At the time of his elimination, voices began to be raised against the integrity of the votes in the competition, noting that the elimination of Black M suited the singer who had planned a concert at the Grand Rex in the following Friday. “The date of the concert was set well before I participated in the show and there was a postponement evening planned with posters already ready in case“reiterates Black M, in the columns of “Parisien”, who had already explained the subject to Camille Combal in “The after party” of “Dancing with the Stars”.

“I think they do what they want”

The interpreter of “On my route”, who is also celebrating the tenth anniversary of his hit with this Parisian concert, however indicates that he himself has doubts about the end of the votes. “Isn’t there something wrong with stopping the votes? I’m wondering. I asked them straight in the eye: ‘Guys, is this a bit fake? Tell the truth…’ And they answered me: ‘no not at all’. […] But I keep my question mark” he confides.

A regular on TV sets (we saw him in “Our Dear Neighbors”, “The Robinson Adventure”, “The Perfect Photo”, “Dream Team”…), Black M reveals: “In the world of TV, they control things we don’t see“. Before adding: “If I were the producer of a show like ‘Dancing with the Stars’, if I wanted to put so-and-so in the final, I would do what I wanted. So I think they do what they want” and to add about the earpieces that many presenters in general and the members of the “DALS” jury wear: “Having been a juror on ‘The Voice’ in Belgium, I know this. I couldn’t say what I wanted.

Black M, unlike Caroline Margeridon, is disappointed by his elimination from the TF1 show, although he can perform his concert on the date initially planned.”What would have been better for me is to win ‘Dancing with the Stars’! I would have liked to have had the light that Tayc, Billy Crawford or Matt Pokora had” recognizes the former member of Sexion d’Assaut.
