At the request of the management of the Dreux hospital center, the City is canceling the seniors’ meal which was to be held on Friday January 24, 2025, at the exhibition center.
Faced with the flu epidemic which is still very active in Eure-et-Loir, the hospital services are overwhelmed with patients and management had to trigger the white plan on Thursday January 9, 2025.
A risk for those over 65
Bringing together some 1,400 people over 65 in the same place could only aggravate an already tense situation.
-The meal traditionally offered at the start of the year by the City of Dreux will therefore not take place on Friday, but will be postponed to a date, which has not yet been decided.
