While the roof of the building has been under repair for several months, and the work could still take several weeks depending on the weather, the use of the room is inevitably disrupted. A training session at US Dreux-Vernouillet even had to be canceled last week.
A second match?
To avoid being exposed to these possible water infiltrations on a match day, the USDV took the lead. It is at the Halle Jean-Cochet in Chartres that Louis Prévost’s partners will welcome Mulhouse, on Sunday January 26, in a late match of the 14th day. “We had the possibility of moving to another room, but without a stand. So we approached the city of Chartres, which kindly accepted our request,” confides the sports assistant for the City of Dreux, Alain Guenzi.
“It’s a flash, it’s not too bad. If there’s work to be done, we’ll do it.”

Soon a unique marking. To meet the requirements of the specifications of the National Handball League, with a view to a possible promotion to Proligue, the floor of the Dreux sports center will be adapted this summer, with a unique marking. Several options exist: sanding the existing parquet floor, adding a taraflex on top or even purchasing a light tracing system using a video projector. No choice has yet been made.
