The General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR) reported 79 cases of measles among prisoners in 13 penitentiary establishments, including 7 minors and two women.

Of these cases, 27 people have recovered. The local prison of Tangier 2 records the highest number of cases, followed by Ain Borja, Mohammedia and Al Arjat 1.

In addition, seven civil servants, including a doctor, were affected by the disease. To limit the spread, 11,620 prisoners and 332 civil servants received vaccination on a voluntary basis. The DGAPR remains active in its prevention efforts in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
