The Dieuppeul district has long been faced with problems linked to insecurity, unemployment and the loss of young people. Under the aegis of the Association of Residents of Castors, Dieuppeul, Derklé and Cités (ARCC), the populations decided to find solutions.
Indeed, cases of attacks, drug use and trafficking, as well as the lack of opportunities for young people concern notables, CHWs and the neighborhood delegate. Today, the Dieuppeul district has become so unrecognizable because of the public works carried out on the roads and especially the dumping of wastewater making mobility difficult in certain corners of the locality.
Women’s associations active in the municipality are also left behind. Particularly in relation to the financing possibilities to which they practically have no access. The populations of Castors, Dieuppeul, Derklé and Cités also want the promotion of their executives and their access to decision-making bodies in order to better manage the difficulties that persist in their neighborhood.
An important activity is also scheduled in their diary for January 25. An opportunity for the ARCC association to challenge the authorities while mobilizing local residents around the major challenges to be met.
