The victim was reportedly taken to Évreux hospital by his family. She did not survive her injuries.

The alleged perpetrator’s custody should be extended this weekend. The public prosecutor should provide new elements on Monday.

Two minors unknown to the justice system

The mayor of Évreux, Guy Lefrandreacted on his Facebook account. “I welcome the efficiency of the police in this matter and trust the justice system for the continuation of the investigation. It seems that the two young people were part of the Microbes group. […] I send my saddened condolences to the family of the young victim. The loss of a child is always a terrible tragedy and the circumstances that caused it add to the immense sadness that we all feel. »

Update: our source initially told us that the victim was 12 years old and the alleged perpetrator was 14 years old. According to other corroborating sources, including the Evreux public prosecutor’s office, the victim would actually be 14 years old and the alleged perpetrator 16 years old.
