P.E.P.R. “Women’s health, couples health”
Management of the Priority Research Program and Equipment (PEPR) “Women’s health, couples health” was entrusted to Inserm. This P.E.P.R. is dedicated to the research into infertility and endometriosis, among other major causes of infertility, and is part of the National Strategy to combat endometriosis.
This research program aims to develop knowledge about endometriosis, fertility, antiepileptic treatments and medically assisted procreation (AMP). This includes assessing the frequency, risk factors and consequences of endometriosis.
It must also allow support research on the fundamental mechanisms at play, clinical, epidemiological and human and social sciences research, and prepare key innovations in this area. It is financed by the State through the France 2030 investment plan to the tune of 30 million euros.
Calls for applications
In this context, the France 2030 research program “Women’s Health, Couples Health” finances doctoral and post-doctoral allowances for projects contributing to advance knowledge on these major public health issues.
Researchers from different disciplines such as fundamental research, clinical research, public health or even human and social sciences are invited to apply.
Applicants without experience in the field of endometriosis or infertility are welcome, provided their project is relevant to the program. The host laboratory must be in France.
