Saint-Yvi. A health check open to all in a truck

Thursday, December 19, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the town will welcome at the town hall, the MarSOINS, a colorful truck which since 2020 has been traveling the roads of Finistère and offering screenings in rural areas.

This mobile prevention unit, supported by the association In your carewill allow Saint-Yvian volunteers to do a health check-up with a general practitioner (sleep, blood pressure, blood sugar, tobacco, physical activity, etc.), as well as a nutritional check-up with a dietitian nutritionist. This action is free, without appointment, anonymous and open to all.

Fight against inequalities

The municipality of Saint-Yvi has signed a partnership agreement with Mutualia Grand Ouest, in order to offer residents an advantageous offer and facilitate access to complementary health insurance. In this context, Mutualia Grand Ouest is also committed to promoting health prevention recalls Élise Mahé, social affairs assistant. This is why it is combining the system of its partner, Le MarSOINS du Bout du monde, to launch this action in our territory.

The main objective of this system is to fight against inequalities in access to health. Our itinerant, flexible and caring approach allows us to create links with residents, inform them and guide them explains Paola Gaffiero, coordinator of MarSOINS du Bout du monde.

Thursday, December 19, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., town hall square.
