Regular exercise is the key to stay healthy throughout your life, and for
stay slim. A sedentary lifestyle is, in fact, one of the main risk factors for weight gain. And people who do not do any sport are generally more exposed to the development of cardiovascular diseases as well as diabetes.
But there is no need to start an extreme or intense sport to lose weight. Walking is, in fact, often recommended by doctors, although it is usually looked down upon by many people. In the United Kingdom, an athlete even decided to set herself a huge goal: to walk at least 25,000 steps per day. And she succeeded in meeting this challenge.

Walking 25,000 steps a day doesn’t have to be a chore
This is certainly the first lesson that Keltie O’Connor took away from his daily walk : fun.
“I bought a FitBit. And I suddenly started noticing that I was taking a lot of steps. The competitive side in me came to life. I was winning points. I was beating people. It was fun “she remembered.
Of course, walk a lot takes time. And some people might find this activity boring. To avoid finding time too slow, Keltie O’Connor ended up listening to music for his long walking sessions. “I noticed that I missed driving around town and listening to music, so I bought headphones and walked everywhere. Time flew by”she explained in her videos on
YouTube.
