Since the launch of BOAS in April 2024, around ten resources have been published. Algorithms and programs are now accessible to everyone in order to be easily reusable by the scientific community.

Programs to simplify and standardize data extractions from the main database of the National Health Data System (SNDS)

Beyond their richness, the data in the main database of the SNDS are complex and heterogeneous. Methods and tools now exist to simplify the manipulation, analysis and interpretation of this health data. Among them:

Targeting algorithms on the main basis of the SNDS
The targeting algorithms in the main database of the SNDS make it possible to identify, on the basis of medico-administrative information, situations or populations presenting a particular pathology or health trait.

They are therefore very useful for researchers to carry out their analyzes on the right cohorts. Four algorithms were thus made available:

Among these programs, three were supported by the Health Data Hub as part of a call for projects promoting the design and validation of such tools with a view to sharing them with the community.

On-demand queries to build simple indicators on data from the main SNDS database
Due to the complex nature of health data, the Health Data Hub has launched a set of citizen actions including an experiment with “on-demand queries” in order to meet the specific needs of associations, interested in obtaining simple figures of descriptions of the populations concerned Some of them are already part of the first resources opened in the BOAS and can also be used in targeting:

A program to facilitate the pseudonymization of mammograms
BOAS is not limited to the referencing of resources facilitating the exploitation of the main base of the SNDS. Indeed, this library has a broader purpose of centralizing algorithms to facilitate the processing of health data in a more general way. A resource containing imaging data has already been published::
