On the program: screening of documentaries and round table on November 23.

As part of the day to combat violence against women, the Humanaissance and Isis&Philaé associations are joining forces to offer an event on “The hidden face of postpartum”.

How can we accept that maternal suicide is now the leading cause of death among postpartum women? At a time when many professionals and associations are launching a cry of alarm through a platform in The World on the necessary care and consideration of women’s perinatal mental health, it becomes more than urgent to inform, raise awareness, accompany and support women in this sensitive period that the postpartum can be. This is why the Humanaissance and Isis&Philaé associations are organizing an event dedicated to on Saturday November 23 and Sunday November 24 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., at the Salon du belvédère, at Corum.

The public will be able to attend documentary screenings Mon postpartum et Respected Births by Eve Simonet and On Suzane as well as Mal partum of Emilie not magical.

They will be followed by debates and exchanges. A round table entitled “From maternal psychological suffering to maternal suicide: let’s lift the taboos” will be moderated by Elise Mercende, president of the Maman blues association and co-author of the book. Postpartum depression: the hidden side of motherhood; Françoise Guerin-clinical psychologist and author of books such as Maternity or even We drown baby cats well ; Sandrine Lebrun, doula and director of the Envol&Matrescence training center; Laure Flamant-liberal midwife. Various workshops and signing sessions will punctuate these two days.
