When did you start your business?
I opened my company FGS 29 a year and a half ago, specializing in 3 D: pest control, rodent control, disinfection. I am a Douarneniste from the Rosmeur district and a volunteer firefighter for 20 years. I make my know-how available. I want people to tell me it’s well done and I try to intervene very quickly, in less than 48 hours.
What types of pests do you deal with?
I sell, rent, and install mosquito traps. I also work on hornet nests, wasps and bee swarms. I install monitoring to destroy bed bugs, cockroaches and cockroaches, ants and birds. I offer rodent prevention contracts to communities and restaurants: rats, mice, etc. Using bait but always respecting humans, animals and the environment. Concerning processionary caterpillars, the traps are also suitable here.
We are talking about the imminent arrival of the tiger mosquito in Brittany. What do you think ?
The tiger mosquito is gaining ascendancy in France, Normandy has gone red and Brittany should be red from this summer. Dr. Grégory Emery, Director General of Health, informed that since 1er January 2024 and until April 19, more than 1,679 cases of dengue fever were imported into mainland France, compared to 131 cases for the same period last year. I am the only one in Brittany to offer three types of mosquito traps. It is an intelligent device, 100% French, a trap without insecticide. It works with a carbon dioxide attractant, which imitates human breathing, and another attractant that imitates perspiration. Mosquitoes enter the device and are trapped in a net. Installed outdoors, it covers an area of 750 m² for 95% efficiency over 24 hours.
