Here is the list of cheeses concerned:

The first cheese is “Le Fromage de Saint-Amand”, sold by the Bernard Brothers. With the barcode 3770001691510, lot 30224, this cheese was sold from 08/26/24 to 10/01/24 throughout France to retailers and other wholesalers. He is recalled for suspicion of Listeriafrom October 1.

The second cheese is a “Valencay AOP”, sold by the brand Our regions have talent. With the barcode 3564709006031, batch V229, this cheese was sold from 09/02/2024 to 10/09/2024 throughout France at Leclerc. He is recalled for suspicion of bacteria E. Colifrom October 9.

The third cheese is a “Valencay AOP 220 g”, sold by the Anjouin cheese factory. With the barcode 00033011700785211, 0003301170008801 and 0003184670010006, lot V229, this cheese was sold from 08/31/2024 to 10/08/2024 throughout France at Auchan, Système U, La ferme d’Alexandre and costco. He is recalled for suspicion of bacteria E. Colifrom October 9.

The fourth cheese is a “Petit Valencay AOP 110 g”, sold by Monoprix. With the GTIN code 0003350030187422 and 0003350030187422, lot V229, this cheese was sold from 02/09/2024 to 08/10/2024 throughout France at Monoprix. He is recalled for suspicion of bacteria E. Colifrom October 9.

Finally, the fifth and last cheese is a “Valencay AOP”, sold by the Producteurs et Commeracteurs brand. With the GTIN code 3250391104031, lot V229, this cheese was sold from 09/02/2024 to 09/24/2024 throughout France at Intermarché. He is recalled for suspicion of bacteria E. Colifrom October 9.

For the five cheeses, the end of the recall procedure extends until the beginning of December 2024. People who purchased these cheeses are invited to obtain a refund in store.

What are the symptoms of listeria and E. Coli bacteria?

Concerning listeriaconsumers who have eaten cheese “would present with a fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, and body aches,” details Rappel Conso. Before adding: “Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and has an incubation period of up to eight weeks. »

For the bacteria E. Coliit can lead, in the week following the consumption of contaminated products, to “sometimes bloody diarrhea, abdominal pain and vomiting, accompanied or not by fever”, warns the Rappel Conso website.

In the absence of symptoms within 15 days after consuming the affected products, there is no need to worry and consult a doctor.
