Each €15 registration (€10 for children) will entitle you to a pink t-shirt causing a huge pink wave to sweep across the Chais Magelis esplanade at 4 p.m. Of the €15, 4 will be shared between a local association and the League Against Cancer.
A device useful for healing
On the cellar esplanade, 25 exhibitors will offer stands dedicated to health, adapted physical activities, rowing, fencing, sport for all. Sophrologists, personal coaches, tattoo artists and wigmakers will also be present. The organizers will donate the sum of the donations collected last year: €6,000 to the Améryste 16 association and €6,000 to the Girac oncology department, which will use it to finance a device useful for healing. “It gives meaning to the walk. So we know what it’s for,” explains Thomas Mounier.
To attract non-walkers, the organization has planned food trucks and a concert with the Angoumois group Spitfire as well as a quiz. All the answers will be found at the exhibitor stands.
The Angoulême town hall provided €35,000 worth of logistics and communication.
