Leader on Friday evening at the opening of PQ3 of the European Cards thanks to a magnificent 61 (-10), Félix Mory (photo) cedes control to the Italian veteran, Edoardo Molinari (-17), 43 years old! At -12 total, the Northerner however shares 2nd place with the Norwegian Alexander Settemsdal. Also very inspired, Robin Sciot-Siegrist and Clément Sordet occupy 4th and 5th place respectively at -11 and -10.

The French are for the moment at the rendezvous of PQ3 of European Maps organized at Tarragona (Catalonia) between November 8 and 13. Leader Friday evening with a huge 61 (-10) on the par 71 of Lakes Course, Felix Mory settled for a 70 (-2) this Saturday on the Hills Course of theInfinite . At -12 after 36 holes, the Northerner, who narrowly missed the ticket for the DP World Tour last week at the Road final, nevertheless moved into second place alongside the Norwegian Alexander Settemsdal63 (-8) on the Lakes Course.

The two men are five shots behind the Italian Edoardo Molinari43 years old, vice-captain of the last Ryder Cup has Rome but also from the next to Bethpage. After a very solid 65 (-7) on the Hills Course on Friday, the transalpine golfer sent an incredible 61 (-10) on the Lakes Course crowned with an eagle, nine birdies and a bogey.

In the immediate wake of Félix Mory, we find Robin Sciot Siegrist alone in 4th place at -11 after playing 66 (-5) on the Lakes Course, just ahead Clement Sordet5th at -10 with the same card posted on the Lakes Course.

Remember that the top 20 and tied at the end of the six rounds will benefit from playing rights on the DP World Tour 2024-25 with a category 18 in his pocket.

Amat, Legendre and Gros on the right side of the virtual cut

23rd at -7, Very Bastien (70 on the Hills Course) is currently in the antechamber of the high level with notably Jean Bekirianwhich has decided to operate for several weeks now under the Armenian flag. Further on, appear Nathan Legendre (35th to -6) and Sébastien Gros46th at -5.

These three are currently on the right side of the virtual cut which will occur after 72 holes. Only the top 65 and tied will then be allowed to play two additional rounds, this time only on the par 71 Lakes Course (during the first four rounds, players face the Hills Course and the Lakes Course twice).

Damien Perrier strikes back

After a difficult start on the Hills Course (73, +1), Damien Perrier recovered on the Lakes Course with a good 67 (-4) which allows him to gain 41 places on the leaderboard. The Breton is 79th at -3. On the other hand, matters are already getting complicated for Aymeric Laussot who signed a very heavy 78 (+6) on the Hills Course. He is 149th at +4!

Let us also note the presence in this PQ3 of the European Cards of some former recent winners on the European Tour such as the English Eddie Pepperell (6th to -9), Oliver Wilson (46th to -5) and Chris Wood (79th to -3), the Chinese Ashun Wu (23rd to -7), the South Africans Justin Harding (35th to -6) and George Coetzee (105th to -1), the Spaniards Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño (46th to -5) and Adri Arnaus (60th to -4) or the Italian Renato Paratore (60th to -4).
