For his first Paralympic Games, Jean-Louis Michaud won the bronze medal in the 50m prone rifle shooting SH1! It was the second medal of the day.

In the H5 category, the Frenchman controlled his race from start to finish to take a very nice gold medal, the first of the day and in the finest metal!
