Transfer window: Growing interest from LOSC for Julien Ponceau (FC Lorient)

In the final stretch of the summer transfer window, Julien Ponceau is the subject of growing interest from LOSC, which is intensifying its stance.

Time is running out and, as the month of August ticks by, LOSC still has two crucial deadlines to face. The first, purely sporting, will see its outcome unfold before our eyes this Wednesday, August 28, in the Czech Republic, with a duel between the Dogues and Slavia Prague, ready to face each other for the second time in a week for a reward hoped for by all: qualification for the Champions League. The second is none other than the summer transfer window, which closes its doors on August 30 at 11 p.m. Behind the scenes, LOSC is moving its pawns on the mercantile scene and showing its great interest in Julien Ponceau (23 years old), player of FC Lorient. The first discussions have already begun with the Breton club and the player is not insensitive to Lille’s approaches.

A potential starter in Régis Le Bris’ squad for the 2023-2024 season, Julien Ponceau was unable to prevent the Merlus from falling to Ligue 2. The current season is more favorable to them. The latter have won their first two matches and are at the top of the championship, tied with Guingamp and Paris FC. For his part, the attacking midfielder, whose contract ends in June 2025, is in good shape with a goal and an assist to his name.
