The most powerful hedgehog of all is coming to Earth! Shadow, a sort of super-boosted black version of the cute little blue hedgehog, is coming to Sonic 3. And judging by the official trailer (below) that Paramount has just released, it will be way too strong!
However, Sonic will be able to count on Tails and Knuckles, now a member of the gang after he was given his own spin-off series in the spring, on Paramount +.
The trio meets again “face a new, mysterious and powerful enemy with unprecedented powers. Outmatched on all levels, Team Sonic will have to form an unlikely alliance to try to stop Shadow and protect our planet.” tease le synopsis.
And the video already reveals the alliance in question: to defeat Shadow, Sonic will call on Doctor Robotnik, back in the guise of Jim Carreycrazier than ever.
Still directed by Jeff Fowler and featuring the voices of Ben Schwartz and Idris Elba, Sonic 3 will be released in France on December 25, 2024 in theaters.
