Qualified for the Futsal World Cup, which will take place from September 14 to October 6, 2024 in Uzbekistan, the Atlas Lions continue their preparation. Ask for the program!
As the world futsal grandstand approaches, the National Team is stepping up the pace of its preparation. The Atlas Lions will face Venezuela twice in friendly matches, on August 26 and 31, as well as the Dutch selection on the 28th of the same month.
The African champions will then head to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on September 1 to fine-tune their preparation for the World Cup, where they are determined to do better than in their previous participation (quarter-final).
To do this, two matches are scheduled for Hicham Dguig’s men on Uzbek soil. They will face a local team on September 5 before crossing swords with the Libyan selection on the 9th of the same month.
Winners of the last three editions of the Futsal CAN, the Atlas Lions will be placed in Group E where they will face Tajikistan (September 16), Panama (September 19) and Portugal, the reigning world champion (September 22).
