The crowd was dense around Jackie Chan this Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in Paris. The Chinese actor and stuntman was participating in the Paralympic torch relay in the streets of the capital, a few hours before the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games which is being held in the evening.
Tony Estanguet, president of the Paris Games organizing committee, promises “a very committed show”.
The Paralympic Games officially begin this Wednesday. More than 5,000 athletes will parade between the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and the Place de la Concorde, during the ceremony imagined by Thomas Jolly, starting at 8 p.m. The events will be held until Sunday, September 8.
