After 15 days without movement, SM Caen will register a third recruit this Tuesday. Kalifa Coulibaly (33 years old), free since his departure from Quevilly-Rouen, will sign with Malherbe for one season.

With an imposing profile (1.97 m), he took part in 30 Ligue 2 matches (22 as a starter) last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 4 assists. Having also played for Red Star Belgrade, Ghent and FC Nantes, Kalifa Coulibaly comes to Malherbe to bring competition in attack.
With this arrival, coming after those of Yann M’Vila and Lorenzo Rajot, Malherbe is slowly refining its 2024-2025 squad. Other recruits are expected, including a winger.
