The Best Pastry Chef is back this Thursday, October 10 as a bonus on M6 for season 13 hosted by Laëtitia Milot for the very first time. Alongside Cyril Lignac and Mercotte, she will evolve alongside the 14 candidates in a new castle. Here’s why.

Cyril Lignac and Mercotte are moving! And yes, since season 11 in 2022, the show The Best Pastry Chef broadcast on M6 took place at the Château de Neuville, a 16th century building located in Gambais, in , which therefore welcomed the candidates for two consecutive editions. But for season 13 hosted by Laëtitia Milot in place of Marie Portolano and launched this Thursday, October 10 at 9:10 p.m. on M6, the program teams had to look for a new filming location. The Best Pastry Chef 2024 : where is season 13 hosted by Laëtitia Milot filmed?

Jérémie Atlan, Director of Entertainment at BBC Studios , explains to us: “The Château de Neuville was not available because it was under construction and could not accommodate us”. You can imagine that the search for a new place was not easy. To bring together around twenty amateur pastry chefs, it was not just necessary to have a simple castle with an idyllic setting. We also needed a venue that was large enough and met a certain number of criteria. The production therefore had to find a place that could accommodate the candidates of this thirteenth edition for the entire duration of filming, i.e. more than a month. The proximity to was also crucial for practical reasons, notably for the travel of the production team and participants. “We looked at all the castles that could accommodate us for so long, which had this water point, M6 was very keen on it, and which was not very far away. Because as soon as we go beyond 30 or 40 km, it’s more complicated to get there.”Jérémie Atlan told us.
