A 20-year-old young man died on Sunday October 6 after falling from a rocky ledge in Arâches-la-Frasse (Haute-Savoie). He had gone out hunting with his relatives. His body was found in the middle of the afternoon by the Chamonix high mountain gendarmerie platoon.

A 20-year-old hunter died on Sunday October 6 during an outing in Arâches-la-Frasse (Haute-Savoie). Around 1:30 p.m., the group he was out with reported him missing.
His body was discovered by the Chamonix high mountain gendarmerie platoon, around 3 p.m.
“The victim died after falling from a rocky ledge, located off the hiking trails”specify the rescuers. The rescue operation was carried out using the Choucas 74 helicopter.
