Earlier today, the L.A. Times published its data-driven list of California’s best places to retire, in which Arcata and Eureka somehow tied for top spot honors. Whatever! As Humboldtians, it’s hard to let that stand. So, since we are the experts on the pros and cons of these two desirable places to die, who better than us to break the tie?
