Ukraine began recruiting military volunteers from Ukrainian citizens in the Polish city of Lublin. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry announced this on its Telegram channel. The first recruitment center was opened on the grounds of the Ukrainian consulate in Lublin. “A military medical commission is operational on site. The training of volunteers takes place in a training camp provided by the Polish side. Ukraine provides uniforms and support, while Poland provides weapons and equipment,” the ministry said.
After signing a contract, volunteers participate in a 35-day training program at a boot camp before continuing with advanced training at NATO bases in Europe.
