Fans weren’t expecting them anymore. Noel and Liam Gallagher, the most famous brothers in the United Kingdom, announced this Tuesday, August 27, on Instagram and X, the reformation of their legendary rock band Oasis.

The band have announced a series of fifteen shows in the UK and Ireland next summer, starting on July 4 in Cardiff and ending on August 17 in Dublin.

Separated since 2009

Noel and Liam had shared on Sunday on their personal account, as well as on that of Oasis, a short video announcing the date of Tuesday August 27, 2024 and the time of 8 a.m., without further announcement.

In concert at the Reading Festival in England on Sunday evening, Liam Gallagher also dedicated the Oasis hit Half The World Away to his brother Noel. Then he sang their other hit Cigarettes & Alcohol “for those who hate Oasis”. This concert also ended with the video announcing the date of August 27th.
