Marseille: Maeva Ghennam’s home targeted by gunfire

According to information from Europe 1, the home of influencer Maeva Ghennam in Marseille was targeted by gunfire on the night of Sunday to Monday, around 1 a.m.

Two individuals allegedly tried to break into the home located in the 11th arrondissement by shooting twice at the front door and throwing incendiary devices that started a fire. Two 12-gauge shell casings were found at the scene.

The fire was quickly brought under control by firefighters and did not cause any major damage. A few hours earlier, two individuals had already tried to break into the young woman’s home, according to CCTV footage from the home. The footage was seized as part of the investigation.

On Instagram, on Sunday evening, Maeva Ghennam informed Internet users that she had to leave her home in Marseille to return to Dubai on Monday. On Snapchat, she simply shared an old photo of herself, with tears in her eyes, with a broken heart emoji and another of an exploding head, around 1 a.m.

In 2021, it was his grandmother’s home, also located in Marseille, which was the target of gunfire, in the 14th arrondissement.
