These French champions not to be missed during the Paralympic Games

ZOOM – The French team will not lack assets to shine in Paris. Close-up on fourteen of its most ambitious representatives.

With its 236 Paralympians, the French team intends to relight the Olympic flame in the hearts of the French, after an Olympic Games that will have thrilled France like never before. The objective will be as simple, in terms of arithmetic, as it is complicated to achieve in terms of sport: finishing in the top 8 nations. Which means, according to Marie-Amélie Le Fur, the president of the French Paralympic and Sports Committee (CNPSF), « pick up 20 gold medals ». That is almost twice as many as in Tokyo three years ago (11 titles, for 55 medals in total). A strong ambition with the advantage of playing at home and a fine generation of Paralympic champions, of which here is a golden sample.
