Ogier unrolls, Evans Fourmaux,
Afternoon under high intensity at Monte-Carlo after a rather interesting morning loop. Always leader of the rally, Sébastien Ogier still widens his lead at the top of the ranking. All in control of specials even dirty than this morning, the native of Gap is content to get ahead of Evans and Fourmaux, only direct threats to the podium, without doing too much since as this morning, he wins any stage. Behind him is a high -level battle for second place between Evans and Fourmaux. From ES13, the first special of the loop, Elfyn Evans resumed second place in Fourmaux for 1.7 seconds. In ES14, it is Fourmaux's turn to launch the assault by ironing the Welshman for only 0.7 seconds. Finally, the last word is for Elfyn Evans which resumes second place in the ES15 and marks the blow with a gap of 4.3 seconds on the Hyundai pilot.
Tänak received 3 out of 3, the Estonian recolle with the podium!
Already in great shape this morning since he had come closer to Kalle Rovanperä by reducing the gap to a small second at the end of the ES12, Ott Tänak continued on his momentum this afternoon. Unleashed, the Estonian aligns the time and handmade on the three specials, with Nottament a victory with nine seconds ahead of Ogier in ES14! Leaving this morning with more than 30 seconds behind the podium, Tänak is 2.3 seconds this evening from his teammate Adrien Fourmaux.
Behind this trio which battles for the podium, the differences are stabilized this evening with fairly important gaps between each pilot from the fifth place of Rovanperä to the ninth place of Josh Mcerlean. In a bin rhythm this afternoon with times far from being ridiculous, the Irishman from M-Sport seems to be more and more comfortable at the wheel of the Puma and takes the opportunity to iron the Fabia Rally2 of Gryazin In order to go up to ninth position.
-In WRC2, Yohan Rossel continues his lonely ride at the top of the ranking and is now almost three minutes ahead of the rest of the podium. As in WRC, there is battle for the podium since Léo Rossel and Eric Camilli stand in less than a second, to the advantage of Léo Rossel this evening.
