After an 8th place in the GP2 Series in 2010 behind Pastor Maldonado, Sergio Pérez and Jules Bianchi in particular, the native of Penrith joined the ranks of McLaren in F1, as a reserve and test driver. The eight years spent with the Woking team gave him solid experience in the premier category of motorsport, which he will now bring to Williams.
