Two individual pedestrian cameras are now part of the equipment of the Fleurance municipal police officers. When a recording is activated, officers must notify the affected individuals. A steady red light signal lights up on the camera, accompanied by a regular sound signal reminding you that the device is in operation. This system helps deter aggressive or dangerous behavior while reinforcing the transparency of interventions.

The data collected is kept for one month. But citizens can exercise their rights of access, information and deletion of images by contacting the town hall directly, or the CNIL for an appeal.
« A complaint, online or by post, can be sent to the CNIL if a person concerned considers, after contacting Fleurance Town Hall, that their rights are not respected. or that the processing implemented does not comply with data protection rules,” explains the municipality.
