Four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen has just added a new gem to his already impressive collection of luxury goods. The Dutch pilot treated himself to a 33-meter Mangusta GranSport yacht, which he named “Unleash the Lion” (from the name of the brand that accompanies its merchandising), the price of which is around a dozen million euros.

A yacht ordered two years ago and received this winter
As told in the Gazzetta dello SportThe delivery of this nautical jewel took place with the greatest discretion to the Overmarine shipyards in Viareggio, Italy. Verstappen had ordered his property two years earlier. He came to collect it from the land of the Boot, accompanied by his partner Kelly Piquet, who is expecting their first child, for this intimate ceremony placed under high security.
Down to the smallest detail, the ship was designed to the Red Bull driver's exact specifications. A subtle nod to his career: he chose a Mangusta GranSport 33, a model far from insignificant since its length of 33 meters recalls his old racing number, which he wore before sporting the number 1 world champion.
-The second highest paid driver in F1 in 2025
With this acquisition, Verstappen joins a very select club of Mangusta yacht owners, which includes Cristiano Ronaldo and Roberto Mancini. A new symbol of success for the Dutchman, whose salary will be 72 million euros this 2025 season of the F1 world championship, as we recently revealed to you exclusively on Sports.
