Adryelson’s arrival was made official by Anderlecht this afternoon. The newcomer introduced himself to the purple supporters.
In the air for several days, Adryelson’s loan to Anderlecht until the end of the season is now official. He arrives from Lyon, who spent nearly 3.60 million to recruit him from Botafogo a year ago before renting him there for the first part of the season.
“I am a powerful and fast defender. I have a winning mentality. I will give everything to help the team” he began by introducing himself, his first words with the Anderlecht jacket on his shoulder.
At 26 years old, Adryelson already has some experience: the Brazilian played as a starter in the Copa Libertadores final won with Botafogo and has one selection with the Seleção (a little over a year ago, without taking part in the game).
He still dreams of the national team
He sees his loan to Brussels as a win-win: “Anderlecht is a club with a great history and it has a good reputation in Brazil. I know the team is still in contention in three competitions and I am here to help continue my biggest dream is to return to the national team and write a great story in Anderlecht.
