The new year has only just begun and eyes are already on the coming sports seasons. This is how the French Motorsport Federation has just formalized the composition of its two French FFSA teams, one for the circuit led by Jean Alesi and the other for the rally led by Pierre Ragues, both reunited this week during a preparatory training at altitude in Val Thorens (Savoie).
5 drivers form the first of the two with Victor Martins at the head of the gondola, whose 2025 program has not yet been announced, Alessandro Giusti, who races Formula 3 at MP Motorsport and in the Williams Racing herd, Enzo Peugeot and Evan Giltaire, who will both repeat in FRECA, and Jules Caranta, now linked to the Red Bull Junior Team, which plays in Eurocup 3. The five boys will obviously have the same goal as one of their recent predecessors in the person of Isack Hadjar: climbing the ladder to Formula 1.
The French FFSA Rallye Team gives a place of honor to the southerners after a season of absence. 2024 French rally champions Léo Rossel and Guillaume Mercoiret are part of the adventure, as are Pablo Sarrazin and Geoffrey Combe, while Sarah Rumeau and Julie Amblard, still supported by Iron Dames, become the first women to join the system. The 3 teams will notably be present in WRC2 in 2025 and will participate in the next Monte Carlo Rally from January 23 to 26.

« This course is always a special moment for me, the opportunity to conduct a physical assessment and individual interviews with all the drivers, to evaluate their progress.tip Christophe Lollier, national technical director of the FFSA.During these few days we will confront the circuit drivers with complex technical situations on the ice, while the aim for the rally crews is to prepare for the Monte Carlo in a few days. The fact that all our circuit drivers come from the national detection center shows that our federal system works and that we work with talents with high potential. Everyone will be able to achieve podiums and titles in 2025. »
