And not the least since after winning the biggest race in IndyCar, the Brazilian will tackle the biggest in NASCAR: the Daytona 500.
The native of São Paulo will in fact be at the start of the first round of the regular Cup Series season on February 16 at the wheel of the No. 91 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet. A commitment which is part of PROJECT91, launched in 2022 by Justin Marks, owner of the team, whose objective is to extend the visibility of NASCAR internationally by hiring renowned foreign drivers.

Before him, drivers like Kimi Räikkönen and Shane van Gisbergen had the opportunity to show themselves at the wheel of the No. 91.
