Verstappen dethrones Vettel with record, Dutchman's dominance highlighted

Max Verstappen leaves only crumbs for the competition. Since his first and controversial title in Abu Dhabi in 2021, after a completely crazy end to the race which still leaves a bitter taste in Lewis Hamilton, the Dutchman has had one success after another. Despite a less controlled second half of the season, the Red Bull driver claimed a fourth consecutive title in Formula 1 ahead of Lando Norris. He joins several legendary drivers on the list, such as Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel.

4 titles in 1077 days

Above all, by doing them consecutively, Max Verstappen broke a record. Only 1077 days separate his first title from his fourth. He is thus ahead of the German driver, crowned four times in 1078 days with Red Bull too. Never before has a driver won the championship so many times in such a short time. Proof of the domination of Red Bull and the Dutchman over Formula 1. It now remains to be seen whether he will be able to continue next year, while McLaren and Ferrari seem better equipped to resist him.
