At the heart of a complicated final season with Mercedes, where he sometimes seemed a little lost, Lewis Hamilton still had a happy weekend, in front of his home crowd at Silverstone, for the 104th victory of his career. Almost 1000 days, 945 exactly, after his last success, in Abu Dhabi in 2021, the Briton won on home soil, for the ninth time, establishing a new record for victories on the same circuit.
